So this is my second week doing this and I must admit, being someone who lives with a camera glued to her face gives me quite a lot of choice.
Which makes it kind of tough to choose 4 moments/pictures.
But I am waffling…again…sigh!
As you can see I chose my 4.
I have been feeling the love this week. Not just from my family, but mostly from myself. I am rocking the self love right now.
Today I finished my first project. I have managed to use YouTube to teach myself crochet. I started off making granny squares. Then I found out some friends of our are expecting a baby girl…which made me decide to crochet a blanket for them. This is the finished product, I must admit I am really proud of myself…I even managed a scalloped edge ☺ keep your eyes peeled for further projects.
Most people would describe Wales as the land of sheep…growing up in Wales you kind of get used to being around them. Its currently lambing season at my dads house. Whilst taking a walk around the yard I found this little fella looking for his mummy.
Sunny days –
This windmill caught my eye, because it reminds me of sunny beach days from my childhood. I was hit by a wave of nostalgia when I held it, I felt like a child again 😉
Those were my 4 moments of life from this week, such a fun week full of glorious sunshine.
I can’t wait for the next one.
Until next time my friends.
How are you all this fine Friday?
Now don’t fall over in shock at my earliness… I am having friends for dinner this evening so I am doing today’s post in between chores…yay for 5 minute coffee breaks!
Now I might add next Friday we are off on our jolly holidays..to the lake district. So I will be pretty much unplugged for the week…eek 😲 which means you won’t here from me for a whole week…dry your eyes I will be back 😉
On the plus side I get to share a lot of photographs with you!! Boo yea!
Alright, moving on with the task at hand.
Today is another five minute Friday. I am joining in with others around the world to 5 minutes of free writing… No editing allowed.
Today’s word is tomorrow.
3, 2, 1, go
When I thought of today’s prompt word, a quote from Macbeth leapt into my mind
Although this isn’t what I think of in a general sense, I had to share it because the wording is very powerful.
But for me tomorrow’s are so important.
They are what got me through so many difficult days –
At the end of a bad day I would say ‘don’t worry there is always tomorrow’
Realising this makes me a little less hard on myself.
I think we are all our own biggest critics.
I would constantly think of myself as a failure if I couldn’t get through a day without crying.
But if you get into the mindset of, its OK we can try again tomorrow… It will ease the guilt you feel.
If you don’t manage it today, then just give it another go tomorrow.
The word tomorrow is full of hope and promise.
You know that tomorrow gives you another chance.
Like that first line of the quote ‘tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow’ we have a whole bunch of tomorrow’s to keep going, to keep striving, to keep working hard at being ourselves.
Just remember today may be rough, but tomorrow is another day to make it smoother.
That’s my 5 minutes.
You know its funny, I never truly know where my thoughts are going to take me. That’s what I think is so great about FMF.
Have an awesome weekend ☺
One – rock, paper, scissors fun
Two – smell the flowers
Three – little diva
Four – hide and seek
I just discovered today that Bella knows how to play rock, paper, scissors! She’s 4!!
This was the only pink daisy in the bunch and Bella loved it!
Granted the pink flower makes her look a teeny bit more pale than usual… I love this shot!
We had a whole bunch of sunny spring days…which are a huge rarity at this time of year in Wales ☺ so our dear Ariana decided to borrow her big sister’s Sunny’s…doesn’t she look cute!
James has got the hang of shuffling backwards..which is good but also slightly unfortunate.. He either ends up between the chairs like this, or stuck under the TV stand 😀 here’s hoping he starts crawling soon!
So this was my first time joining in with 1+4=life I look forward to many more yay!
Happy monday guys!
Granted it is early evening right now, but hey it has been the last day of the school holidays… So its been constant ‘mummy, mummy, mummy’ lol!
Just lately we have been having a few tantrum moments via little miss Ariana!
I know she is 2…and terrible two’s are imminent shall we say…but oh my word she really goes for it sometimes…stomping…hitting herself in the face…I have never seen anything like it.
So I had an idea today to see if I could find any guides on what’s best to do in this situation –
I am a huge fan of a magazine called ‘Gurgle’ which is where I found this article on tantrums – read it here also they have guides for pretty much everything parent related there.
I rarely get a chance to look through all of the FMF posts on a Friday..due to severe lack of time. So I took a cheeky look today, and I found a great post about how mums need relief – read it here
Thanks to the blogger mallory I have discovered another great blog the glitter diaries.
I found a great post on there – about what she wishes she knew in middle school. Now I don’t really know what middle school is…but I assume its part of your early teen years. Anyway I am waffling – read it here
This is my quote for the week –
Have a great day folks
