Blogtember โ€ข day 30 โ€ข farewell loves

Hey y’all!

We have reached the end of blogtember.
It’s been as enjoyable as it was last year ๐Ÿ˜Š

I sit here writing this with a cup of tea (how British) and Great British bake off on the TV (my Wednesday night go to!)…and girls I have broken out my autumn woolly socks!

Alright, let me start off by thanking Bailey for once again delighting and inspiring with wonderful prompts for the month, and for hosting the 2nd blogtember challenge.

Secondly, I am grateful for meeting new lovely bloggers that I know I will be following for years to come.
I am also thankful for the incredible, encouraging and inspiring bloggers that took part in this challenge.

That’s my thank yous out the way –

But remember dear friends this is not goodbye…but see you later (tomorrow probably)
We now get to keep moving forward, we keep blogging, we keep plodding along.

I don’t know about you guys but I am starting another challenge tomorrow… What am I crazy?! Possibly…
I am joining in with kate who does the five minute Friday prompts – and doing her 31 day prompt challenge.

Also I got some ideas from yesterdays blog topic prompt that I would like to try – watch this space sweeties ๐Ÿ’œ

As I come to the end of my tea, I also come to the end of my post.

So here I am sending you virtual across the ocean/Internet hugs and a ton of love.
Keep blogging
Keep being amazing
I will be watching ๐Ÿ˜‰
Ha! I am so creepy ๐Ÿ˜‚ but I love you all

Blogtember โ€ข day 28 โ€ข a day in the life of a mama of 3

Hey y’all

I will readily admit, documenting my day is kind of weird…kind of puts my day into a different perspective.
Also taking pictures makes it weirder, but what the heck! When in Rome…man I wish I was in Rome ๐Ÿ˜‚

Greeted by geese or a goose selfie if you will ๐Ÿ˜Š

Everyday these geese hiss at me…but its my driveway so there, human – 1 goose – 0 ๐Ÿ˜

Breakfast – ahh the sweet smell of mummy juice (coffee) I will readily admit that actual food for breakfast is not my forte! To be fair thought just getting 3 kids fed and dressed is chore enough ๐Ÿ˜Š

Oh yes the ‘mummy puts everything away/let’s get it back out’ game! My favourite ๐Ÿ˜’

Photo a day is something that I take care to do each day and its something I enjoy…today was note.

Spot of crochet sneaked in while the kids took a nap – I making an infinity scarf for a friend as a thank you for being such a sweetie… It’s a surprise… Ssh!!

Off on the school run…I am a bit of an early bird for pretty much everything, being late or even the idea of lateness makes me nervous, do we head off at 3pm on a 10 minute drive to the school…I know I am weird!

Usually after school I am telling them off for jumping on the furniture…today they decided to dance along to hairspray…they must have known I was taking pictures today ๐Ÿ˜‰

Dinner is always at 5pm – yea I am “that” person…OCD about time keeping…and eating times…

Got to watch big bang theory at 6pm, whilst getting the kiddies ready for bed, teeth brushed and in bed by 6.30pm.

Which is closely followed by me getting my PJs on with a nice cup of tea ๐Ÿ˜Š and Netflix –
Hurray for parental evening fun ๐Ÿ’œ

That is pretty much my day in a nutshell.

Just factor in washing dishes 4 times a day… Yea I still handwash dishes…foldings laundry, making lunches, changing nappies etc ๐Ÿ˜‚ and I have quite the jam packed day ๐Ÿ’œ

What does your day look like?!

1. New quay, Wales – the in laws visited this weekend and we spent a few days in new quay, which is one of my favourite seaside places…not only that it is full if wonderful photo opportunities.

2. The secret garden – a cute little walk not far from our front door. Full of beautiful flowers, statuesque trees and interesting art sculptures.

3. Weekend walks – caught my girls walking along holding hands, which is incredibly adorable.

4. Where’s Wally – introducing Bella to the joys of where’s Wally…a classic for most 90’s kids..making a comeback (I hope) she found him twice..well impressed!

So this is my first one+four for a while now, I rediscovered it via helen who tells us there is a new blog hosting the linkup isabel
I look forward to joining in again yay!

Blogtember โ€ข day 26 โ€ข a real page turner

My oldest friend.
My paper dreams. A way to escape real life.

Teachers and helpers.

If I had the time I would have my head constantly buried within one.

But what am I currently reading?

The silent girl – Tess Gerritsen
One of the many books in the rizzoli and isles series.
I have read a few of her books before – I enjoy her style of writing.
I don’t generally like to read crime/thriller books, but these are so well written I feel drawn to them.

Gone girl – Gilliam Flynn
I gave in to the hype…it had me on tenterhooks!

Now I used to read a few books at once, but being a mum of 3 I am lucky to get one read.

However, I have a pretty big wish list –

The girl on the train – Paula Hawkins
What Alice forgot – Liane Moriarty
Yes please – Any Poehler
The happiness project – Gretchen Rubin
Paper towns – John Green
The joy luck club – Amy Tan
The firm – John Grisham
The art of asking – Amanda Palmer

Just a few from my giant list ๐Ÿ˜‰
I am always game for recommendations *hint hint* (comments below๐Ÿ˜‰)

What are your favourite books?
Do you prefer paper or tablet?
Old or new?

Let’s get a book convo going ๐Ÿ˜Š

FMF – doubt

It’s fri-yay!
How have I just discovered this word?!
Hello new favourite word ๐Ÿ˜Š

On another great note it’s five minute Friday.

This weeks prompt – doubt

Ready, set, go….

Doubt is a vicious cycle.
It will eat you up in an instant.
Surround you and pull into its web.

Take one step towards it and you may fall down a slippery slope, forever struggling to escape its clutches.

Doubt is damaging.
Doubt holds us back from our dreams.
Doubt is the destroyer of spontaneity and joy.

It will hold us back from the things we love, often making is want to live a more hidden or shy existence.
Too afraid to live our life how we want to.

Doubt has held me back from so much – I am my worst critic.
Doubt is harsh and mean.

Self doubt is an awful thing, and needs a swift kick in the butt.
Don’t doubt your ability
Don’t doubt who you are, what you are capable.
Don’t doubt your beauty and worthiness.

Easier to say, but doubt makes it harder to do.

But let’s give doubt the ‘get lost’ treatment today – kick it in the pants and crush it.

Hooray, first fmf I have done for a while ๐Ÿ˜Š
Have a beautiful weekend,
